From Dr. Florence Denmark and the 75th Annual Board Meeting and Conference Committee

April, 2017

Dear ICP friend,

ICP will be celebrating its 75th anniversary from July 27th to July 30th this year. ICP was founded in 1942 in New York City and it is fitting to celebrate in the city of ICP’s founding. The New York site will be at the downtown campus of Pace University.

  • On Friday, July 27th, the outgoing Board of Directors will meet from 9 until 4 in room 1319 at 41 Park Row.
  • Following the Board Meeting, an opening reception will be held in room 1323 in the 41 Park Row Building. Board members and others attending the conference are invited to attend the reception.
  • The conference will continue on Saturday July 29th and Sunday, July 30th.

Dinner will be on your own.

Two banquets will be held at an additional charge—a Chinese banquet on July 29th and a closing banquet on July 30th.

For ICP members, the price of $200 will include 2 lunches, and 2 coffee/tea breaks on July 29th and July 30th, a conference bag, and conference program. ICP non-members may register for $250 and that fee will include a one-year ICP membership. Accompanying persons will pay $100. Students pay $75 if they are ICP members and pay $85 if non-ICP members and that will give them ICP membership for the coming year.

The program will include papers, symposia and invited addresses. Students will have the opportunity to present posters in person and in absentia.

On July 27th in the afternoon, 2 workshops will be available as will 2 additional ones on the morning of July 28th, and an all-day one on the 28th. There will be a charge of $75 for each workshops attended, payable on the web or at the time of arrival.

In this letter, I’ve given you an overview of what to expect at our conference. Of course, you also have the opportunity to renew friendships and make new ones. There will also be an opportunity for sightseeing.
